AHH board members, donors and guests travel annually to Colonias Solidaridad, Solferina and Colonia Los Angeles to celebrate the end of the academic year at a banquet with our scholarship students and their families. We also work on maintenance projects at the colonias, school buildings and courtyards, and conduct a vacation Bible school program–with help from our scholarship students–for the community’s pre-school and elementary school children.
Our next trip is scheduled for late January 2025, right before the Honduran school year begins in February. Although the fee has not yet been set, it is typically less than $600 per person. That amount covers six nights at a lovely and secure Juticalpa inn, all breakfasts and some dinners, private transportation to and from Juticalpa and the Tegucigalpa airport, and private transportation around Juticalpa.
