AHH is a completely volunteer-led organization. Other than our long-time Juticalpa-based program coordinator and part-time tutors, we have no staff and virtually no overhead so that almost every penny donated goes towards school scholarships. We count on our board and committee members to be good stewards of our donors’ dollars and to keep our programs running smoothly even though we are hundreds of miles from the community we serve.
