Vocational Education Scholarships

After several years of helping scholarship students navigate middle and high schools, AHH saw the need to help with post-secondary vocational training and now provides funds to students studying in local two-year cosmetology, tailoring, and auto and motorcycle mechanics programs. Scholarships provide full tuition as well as payment for public bus transportation, uniforms, shoes, and lunch. Students also receive equipment on loan from AHH relevant to their course of study, such as hairdryers, straighteners and flat irons for cosmetology, sewing machines for tailoring, and tool boxes and safety glasses for mechanics. Upon graduation from their course, students earn ownership of the loaned equipment.

AHH donors currently support seven vocational education students.
